Just sucks because ive spent at least 1.2k on accessories for the car and if they have to repaint the car they will have to remove the carbon pieces ive put on the car. What if they break those pieces? Am i responsible for removing them or replacing them if they break those pieces. Man i just want to enjoy the car.

I have the same color and have not noticed any paint issues like that. Hopefully they can fix it.

Just went to the dealer and saw a red 2.0 with same spots as mine.

Its only really visible when its in direct sunlight and then you block the sun and it will show in the shade. See pictures below. Its obviously a paint issue with this color. This specific car had alot of these spots all over the car. I just took a couple of pictures to build a case for my car.

Gave my car its second wash complete with a some Meguiars ultimate quick wax love. Didn't notice any of the spots you have, I did however notice a couple small rock chips on the drivers side fender :banghead:

Get it pained corrected. Mine needed a two step correction before PPF and Ceramic.
Dont think that will fix this problem. Seems to only happen with this red color. BMW owners say the clear coat is real thin on these cars so that could be a possibility. Im not an expert but a car painter checked it out and said he doesnt know what it is. Its getting escalated to the next level. I wouldnt want them ruining the factory clear coat to fix the issue.

It says in the listing the dealer took off the PPF and the customer didn't want it after they found out.

Yeah that doesnt say anything about what im seeing on mine or the one at the dealer. But to be honest saleman and dealers are crooks. I showed the people at the dealer that there supra had alot of those spots mine had and they didnt care. They just put it on the showroom floor. I just hope the person who trys to buy it really checks it out before buying.

Where are you seeing that problem in the listing?

I have a 2021 3.0p Ren Red and have no paint problems.

Yep, dealers are crooks. Mine didn't have this paint problem but it did have overspray and scratches from sitting on the showroom floor. My detailer took care of all of that though.

To really see the spots you have to have the car in the sun light then stand in front of the sun and create that shade effect. If you have the spots you will see it. For some reason it doesn't show inside a building or under a structure. Its not a water spot its inside the paint or under the clear coat.
