I can't seem to find anything, but a quick look on Autotrader shows 663 new 3.0s to 347 2.0s. It seems that the 2.0s are sitting on the lot a little longer.
That's pretty high consider Toyota's production rate of 20%.

Someone should post that on the Supra forum and watch all the A80 guys get hurt and try to insult you before slamming the ban hammer lmao.
I made the mistake of going there first instead of here after I got my Supra. It is not a friendly place for us folks. I mean I expected some disdain, but it is at a whole new level there. It's totally irrational.

I poked around there and thought about creating an account but after all the “my weener is bigger than yours” comments I wised up and joined here instead.

That site is toxic!

Does anyone know if there is a break down of 2.0 vs 3.0 sales?

In the 2022 thread the guys with dealer info said the 2.0 was returning so Toyota probably sold just enough to justify a second model year.

I’ve asked 4 dealerships around here if they’ve sold any 2.0’s and their answer was no. There might be a big surplus when the 2022 models roll out.

My best guess is the ratio In the salvage thread of 1 to 26.

If Toyota is already having a hard time moving them just wait until the Z comes out.

So Toyota's original goal of 1k a month doesn't sound to farfetch. The current sales trend is probably linked to the economy bouncing back and stimulus check payments.
i think some dealers cutting prices on 21s in preparation of the 22s are also boosting the sales figures above the normal rate.

I'm shocked Toyota will still continue to make them for North America.

The funniest thread I ever saw was when they were talking about how some higher ups at Toyota shared their disdain for that forum.

They started insulting Toyota for not realizing that that forum had the most “loyal” fanbase. ???

I'd be curious to see the difference in sales between the 2.0 vs 3.0.....?.....

Wow, reading that last page alone was a trip. How unfulfilling must their life be, to be this salty about a car? Is this some sort of Japanese fetish? Are they mad that they can't sniff on the seats for that waifu flavor because the car is made in Austria.. nobody knows. Pathetic..
There’s one guy in particular that comments on every MKV post negatively like a kid. Lmao. Then when someone is like “why are you acting like this?” A swarm of them will jump in on them ?

They always say “we know more about the MKIV then you’ll ever know.”

So I don't have the actual numbers, but Toyota had it's best ever April sales month. The plant I work at, (tmmi) we are over 20000 vehicles behind target. Can't meet demand. Every month we get vspp (basically a small part of our employee discounts) and the supras discount went from $1560 last month, to only $460 this month. So, suffice to say, the sales were rather good last month for even the supra! Gives me hope it'll stick around perhaps. And yes, if any single vehicle in their line up is down in sales, they will increase our discounts for that particular vehicle. So good news!
