This looks like it would resolve the popping out issue I had with the AFE charge pipe. Do you know if this fits well with the HKS carbon fiber Intake?

Nice. ordering the CTS inlet pipe today. I'm assuming the O-ring and locking ring will be reused from the stock, but it'd be a plus if they were included already.

Seeing that it says it is compatible with most intakes and even the stock setup, my assumption that the connection would work in reverse. HKS works with stock lower intake pipe so therefore A=B, B=C so A=C ....LOL we'll see I'm using it with a CTS intake but I'll try to mate it up to the stock upper pipe section to give you an idea

Makes sense but please confirm compatibility once installed

Got the part yesterday (thanks @Extreme Power House for the fast shipping) but only had time to take it out of the box this morning.

dimensionally, the overall size and connection openings are the same as the plastic stock lower intake pipe so I could see this being used with other intakes that don’t replace the lower pipe such as AWE or HKS.

It will need the gasket and ring transferred over from the stock pipe.

it is what I expected for a cast part, but it did have some sloppy grinding done on the interior. Never going to be seen, but not something I expected on a finished product.

Thanks for the feedback. I bought one as well, not realizing that my FTP intake pipe replaces it anyways. either way, it seems like a nice piece and just a little more steathy since it uses the OEM intake hose.

I actually bought mine to pair with an actual CTS intake. It's going to be very much like the MST v2 Intake with the lower pipe and open but with a huge filter. So it won't be very stealthy visually or audibly.

I also have an FTP intake pipe that I will likely sell now.

Just purchased this to replace the stock portion that the AWE intake uses. I think this is going to be much better solution than the stock intake portion that AWE does not replace. Look forward to getting this and then I will confirm fitment with the AWE!

I am having trouble installing the lower pipe. The limited range of the vacuum pipe, tight space and precise angle needed to install the clip to the nipple leaves me a bit frustrated. Let me know if you guys have any tricks that work for you.

Got it done. Tight fit due to the pipe being a larger diameter but it’s in there without breaking the vacuum line. Be patient and it’ll all come together.
