I have heard a few MKV's blow off loud enough to hear. I assume its from an upgraded charge pipe, full air intake from air box/filter to turbo.
Now it wasn't LOUD like an Neon SRT4 lol but loud enough to hear and appease me lol

Throwback, my NSRT4 made all kinds of fun noises sounded aggressive for being a little skittle. Kinda miss that car, but my FiST is almost as noise worthy.

The "farting" between gears is essentially the new "BOV" sound, right?

I do miss the old BOV chirp and I absolutely hated the farting sound until I started to realize why it was what it was and now I appreciate it more.

The Farting is the transmission shifting between gears. Lol ? Lambo Urius farts between shifts as well. And so do a lot of the Porsche and Audi cars.

I had NSRT4 as well. Made a little over 400 to the wheels and I would scare the living hell out of people with my BOV. Had the Turbo XS RFL.

I do miss that car sometimes. Super fun but hated things always breaking on it.
