Im not sure these are actually painted, just plain black plastic. It basically disappears though. Looks way better than the reflector.
Should be painted per IND. Satin black to match the diffuser.

Drove from Savannah GA to Monroe NC to visit CES Motorsport and get my car tuned. I'm one of the very fortunate 2021 owners who's ECU was able to be tuned, production date 03/18/20. The guys at CES are incredible, thanks to John the owner, very helpful. Highly recommend if you're local or willing to drive a decent distance.

Car was tuned on MHD. 93 Octane and CES Motorsport Catless Downpipe are the only mods. I'm incredibly happy with the results!

This picture is stock tune with the downpipe already installed. I forgot to ask for a stock base line run. Back to back runs, 5 minute cooldown in between.

This is with the CES downpipe and the MHD Off the Shelf 93 Octane tune. 96 degree heat as well!

These cars are fun as hell and fast in stock form, but this thing is a monster now. Well, to me it is anyways, it's the fastest thing I've driven so far. Very happy!

John, the shop owner, told me that the run on stock tune with the downpipe was a great run. He said the reason the horsepower figure was that high compared to a 2020 is probably because of the 6 port design versus the 2 port design. After the tune though the 2020 and 2021 make very similar power.

I was picking his brain a bit about the tuning platforms and whether the tuners might be able to refine a better tune for the 2021s because according to his knowledge, the 2021s and 2020s are all using the same OTS tune maps. I was just curious if the 2021 would make any significant gains on a custom tune due to the 6 port head design.

I think we are going to try datalogging and getting a custom tune set up. Man, MHD is so stupid easy to use its mind blowing.

MHD seems like the best option. I watched the video from Thicc Whips comparing MHD OTS to BM3 and the MHD map was way cleaner with no timing corrections.

I'm very interested to see what the 2021 will do with a custom tune.

Installed the carbon fibre wheel today. It's terrific, but WOW it took almost an hour to get the center off with the air bag. One corner would always stay attached... until it didn't.

Got the ECS steering wheel today. I went with a minimalist look. Full Alcantara with A91 stitching. The most important thing is that it no longer feels like I'm holding the steering wheel from a U-Haul truck.

I've seen people complain about the Supra steering wheel a few times now - I am curious what people specifically don't like about it? Is it a feel thing, or just appearance? Both? I've found it to be about what I'd expect, but maybe I've just not driven anything with an actual *good* steering wheel?

For context, my previous sports cars have been a 2011 RX-8 and 2010 370Z. I'd say the Supra wheel is about on par with both of those as far as wheel goes. Probably a bit nicer from a materials standpoint compared to the 370Z.

I am as well. We decided to not go custom on the 93 octane OTS Map because MHD said at this point that map is almost 100% dialed so the extra $500 for custom tuning wouldn't have been worth the extra, maybe 10hp and Tq numbers you would get. John advised me to wait on custom tuning through MHD until I'm ready for E50.

Rexpeed v1 spoiler from a90 shop. I know these products are sometimes hit or miss but I’m very happy with it. No issues with the clear or weave, packaging was good as well.
