~ still confused as to why one buys an extended warranty on a brand new car? major dealer up sale.Today I got a full refund on my extended warranty for the Supra since it's useless now. I initially got it because I didn't expect to do anything to the car...
Probably because you can finance the warranty along with the car. I'm not speaking about supra owners specifically, but generally. When most folks buy cars, they plan on owning them for a long time. Financing this is more stomachable to a lot of folks than dropping however much they cost when it's time you need one. For those who have to finance, this makes ~some amount of sense.~ still confused as to why one buys an extended warranty on a brand new car? major dealer up sale.
you have a factory warranty per the manufacture for 3yr / 36k basic and 5yr / 60k powertrain … but ppl have 2 warranties in place for the first 3 years?!? and many finance those extended warranties along with the car.
makes no sense to me personally. one’s paying for something they can’t even use for 3 years and with interest the majority of the time. ??
holy shit the meme started in 1984?~ Sweet (more pics please)…
My mom had an ‘84 she bought new back in the day. Loved it as a teenager.
Yup, I work at a dealer and have had many customers who saved thousands of dollars due to purchasing the extended warranty. But like others have said, this mainly pertains to people who are keeping their vehicle outside the factory warranty period. Ends up paying for itself in the long run usually.Probably because you can finance the warranty along with the car. I'm not speaking about supra owners specifically, but generally. Extended warranties have always saved me a ton of money in the end since I tend to keep cars for more than 5 years. Especially on my Land Rover and BMW. It's also nice to have when reselling a car. I refunded this on the Supra because I know by the time it kicks in, it will be worthless.~ still confused as to why one buys an extended warranty on a brand new car? major dealer up sale.

You did what was best for your use case. A lot of people on here change cars in no time so don’t sweat it.Extended warranties have always saved me a ton of money in the end since I tend to keep cars for more than 5 years. It's whatever works for the individual.
Nice additions. Your pics remind me how much longer I have to wait until my strut brace arrives.Installed a couple carbon pieces from nvspecialties.com today. Special thanks to Jonathan for meeting up with me to talk about the cars and to exchange the radiator cover with one that was pristine since the first one had a small drip imperfection under the epoxy. It was awesome seeing his Supra and checking out all the cool carbon pieces in person. I even saw some top secret ones still in development! Haha.
Wtf, so did my mom!? Uhh are you my brother? Hahaha~ Sweet (more pics please)…

Would like a link for this spoiler as well. Been looking for one just like it that's not carbon.New M-Spec gloss black rear wing ordered from eBay. Very happy with the fit, went on perfectly. Considering getting it painted to match the standard aero-kit that comes on the car so satin/matte kind style.
