Not sure where to put this but there's a 4 minute video from Automotive Mike. From the video you can see that the front vents appear to be fake ) :

Back in August, we saw a well-camouflaged 2019 Supra prototype prancing around with a pair of production LED headlights, featuring a thin LED strip for improved daylight visibility.

Now, we get to see the production taillights too, which have sort of a flattened "teardrop" graphic. It almost looks like a more modern take on the GT86's taillight graphics, which would make sense, although we can't be sure the GT86 served as a benchmark in any way.

In fact, there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding the new Supra, a car closely related to the new BMW Z4, though unlike the Z4, the Supra is rumored to only come with an automatic transmission.

Another fresh rumor suggests that the 2019 Supra won't even be badged as a Toyota. In fact, it could be sold under the Gazoo Racing brand, acting as a launchpad for Toyota's high-performance Gazoo division.

"The Supra will be by Gazoo," stated Shigeki Tomoyama, the man in charge of the sub-brand, while Akio Toyoda himself insisted that the new Supra needed to be more aggressive than what was originally planned, a conclusion he arrived at after driving a pre-production model.

"The new car has to appeal to the existing owners first," said Toyoda. "The old cars had a straight-six engine, twin-turbochargers and rear-wheel drive; the new car has to have the same philosophy." Expected to weigh between 1,200 kg and 1,500 kg (2,645-3,306 lbs), Gazoo Racing's Supra is reportedly being fine-tuned with the BMW M4 and Porsche 911 used as benchmarks.

You think so? There's a layer of black paneling after the white door skin ends but you can't see if there's any venting in there or not. I wish the photographer got the other angle so we could see the rear quarter panel, that would definitely give us an answer.

The hips look great though!

That's true, at 2:57 you can see the lower part of the vent is a different shade of black? Photographer got so close, yet there's still so much I want to see haha. Fingers crossed though. I wish the guys driving could've stepped on the cars just a little bit harder. The turbo inline 6 sounded so good.

I agree, loving the rear of the car! That rear valence looks aggressive and the rear hips are looking sharper! Do you still think there's a small chance for a similar spoiler to the one on the FT1 (retractable)?

Honestly, I have no idea about the spoiler, but considering that we've never seen a mule with the wing up on track or even a cutout in the camo in the shape of a wing, I'm going to have to lean towards there not being one. :(

Thatā€™s what I was leaning towards too hereā€™s to hoping that they are keeping that as a secret and testing that in a closed track in Japan The reason I mention this is because I remember A70 mentioning something about the rear...something like ā€œitā€™s the little thingsā€. Not sure if itā€™s maybe the spoiler he was talking about....one can only dream haha

Nice vid, the part at the gas station looks similar to an earlier short vid, like the wheels and black color, more guessing and speculation...
