For everyone that has the function werk DP, has your CEL ever come on? I’ve probably had mine installed for the past 2 months and the check engine light just came on today.

I knew someone would eventually have this happen, I asked a while back and got mainly positive reviews, do you know 100% if it is a cat code? I know 99.99% it is but just to be sure

My CEL has never come on to date. I have probably 7000 miles with the FW Catless DP installed. That’s all styles of driving including a few track days and one day at the drag strip. So far the DP has worked as advertised.

Not 100% sure if it is bc of the DP. I haven’t looked into it too much since the CEL popped up. I also have a piggy back tune that may have caused it (only been installed for about 2 weeks). I plan on looking into it more in the near future, it probably isn’t the DP if others haven’t had any issues with it. Thanks for the feedback!

I've had about 12k miles on it and it just started coming on sometimes but I think it's because of the JB4, had it like 10k miles and never came on.

I just installed this downpipe paired with a muffler delete/takeda CAI/and a Turbo Transformer piggy back tuned to +3 psi! It's insane how quick my car feels now. I was making 22.5 psi before the downpipe addition and now it's 25.5 psi with it on 93 shell v power.

@Probaholic1 and @Sub-MkV thank you both for the feedback! I think the CEL was tune related. A couple weeks after the CEL light came on, it turned off. Haven’t had an issue since then.

@Sub-MkV how are you liking the Takeda CAI?
@Probaholic1 how are you liking the BMS intake?

I’ve decide wait for more CAIs to be released before purchasing one.

What settings are you currently running on the piggy back tune? I’m running the same one, but haven’t tinkered around with the settings since I installed it.

I believe I did. The CEL did not come on until a week or so after installing the piggy back tune. It never came on between the time I installed the downpipe to The installation the piggy back tune, which leads me to believe the tune was the cause of the CEL.

So I have base set to 8, psi boost set to 3 and slope set to 4 on the turbo transformer because that's as safe as you can go says the owner of TT.

Secondly, I love the Takeda intake. It's makes lovely induction noises with some enhanced turbo noises. At first I was not happy about paying $400 but It was worth it because the quality is really good and still cheaper than some Supra intakes.

Not to be a dick, but how many options do you need? There are several that are available, none of them add any power, and they all sound ~basically fine.

I heard a couple things about the piggy back tunes. As a tip. Get some data logs to show how you drive and load it up to whatever system you are using. So experts can look at it. Some of the piggy back systems OTS maps are causing the turbo to over work by tricking the sensor and causing turbo issues. There was one member on here who ran too crazy of a OTS map and blew his turbo using a piggy back tuner. Data logging will be your best friend is seeing if you should be running on a different map or change some parameters.

This. Don't change anything without you or a tuner looking at logs.

There are a lot of options for the 3.0, as for the 2.0 the last time I looked into it there weren’t many. Maybe that has changed, but haven’t looked into it too much since. I don’t think you sounded like a dick at all, I appreciate the feedback! ?
