What did you do to your Supra today?

Those numbers are great considering you're on the OEM downpipe. That extra 65 lbft of torque makes a huge difference but I'm impressed! How are you liking the way it drives now vs the stock tune?

The power is definitely noticeable..
I only have a few miles on the car at this point...
But the throttle response is amazing...ask for power n it's right there..

You made the correct choice for your steering wheel. I don't know why people want to choose that silly looking stripe at the top of the wheel. This is perfect in my opinion with the perforated leather and red stitching.

Yea I don’t do any type of road racing so they stripe serves me no purpose. Love the cleaner look without the stripe too.

Nope no current plans for it mate, I’ve bought it just for show… painted all the sliver metal parts on it to improve the looks and will be leaving it on for a while as I kinda like it more than I thought now it’s on ???

Took this snap that same night. Weeknights are actually not too busy. We even caught an R32 Skyline GTS-T there for photos as well. The brick road is hairy for lowered cars though.

Got my break-in oil changed at the Toyota dealer today.

I let my service advisor know I had multiple reservations about letting the dealer do the oil change. So we went to the service bay and I spent about 25 minutes talking with one of the only 2 master trained techs who are allowed to do anything to the car. I asked lots of questions and got to know the tech and all the training and special diagnostic tools they have. I also discovered he’s worked at this dealership for over 20 years.

I am confident they will do well with the car. They even have relationship with the BMW dealer down the block to consult with if ever needed.

If you are worried about taking your car to the dealer, I would recommend meeting their Supra techs and let them know you know the details about the car and care a great deal about what happens to it. I also do not pressure them to have the car back to me in an hour. They appreciate having the time to do things well.

Dropped by the shop to pull some things out of the engine bay. The car is having bod work done. Hood, fenders, side skirt, diffuser, front lip, black chrome titanium supra and toyota badging. Along with some refinishing, powder coating, and readjustment on existing pieces.

Then added the carbon fiber A pillar covers from @Rexpeed. I think they are gorgeous (took about 30 minutes, completely cleansed surfaces and used heat gun on both surfaces to help ensure a solid adhesion):

Follow up from oil change. 23xx miles and no oil issues after using the OEM oil, 6.5L volume. ‘22 model

This is exactly how to get this car well received and respected overall as an owner. Engage your tech and dealer service people. They need to see and work on the cars to be proficient. You have a warranty so exercise it. I am doing the same with my dealer. In Germany my BMW mechs were also my best friends over time. We shared many cool car experiences and I learned alot about all my cars they took care of.
