Yeah, I read it yesterday. Sounds like this is a really solid setup.

Thanks for posting it here!

Sounds like the more perfect Supra. The tweaks are concise and targetted. Glad the mag did say it needed a manual. Refereshing. The car is superb as is out the door. He cleaned up the edges.

Same, someone's just grumpy today
I know if I was going tune a car for real world performance overall - Id be contacting that gent in the article. Refreshing to say the least that a 'tuned' car does so well in a real world major auto-mag review. Lessons to be learned for owners there.

Thanks for the heads up… it appears my thread was redundant…

It seriously made me re-think about my suspension changes coming in the spring.

The article is a concise education on what little the car actually needs to be not just good but superb. A lesson to those worried about the wrong things in modifying an already good car. Id change the wheels but that is a style issue. Mechanically Id be quite pleased with a duplicate. His mention of the Ferrari and how they approached the 458 was enlightening and lost on most people. Porsche has the same philosophy as well. Ever notice how well a base 911 Carerra rides and still handles superbly with almost track ready brakes as the base car.

Balance car and ride quality and handling, and focus on the power that particular set up can handle.

I’m more curious as to the vague reference to the ecu lock workaround
