OK, I'll give this a go....

Given that you have already tried the computer from a completely different network (your buddies house) and still have the same problem, and it works on your phone, it's obviously something with your computer. Have you ruled out the browser yet? Try Safari or something other than Chrome. If it works with a different browser, then it's the browser and we can look at why that's blocking the site. If you have the same problem with different browsers, then it's something at the OS level and we can start looking there.

EDIT: Welp, it does look like this is happening at the Service Provider level (aka, Cloudflare). Looking to see what triggers the WAF response

Yep just tried again with Safari and same results as chrome. Been blocked. What a really weird is this started like 4 weeks ago with it making me doing Captcha every time I logged onto the forum, and then it just blocked me, and the first night if I used a hotspot it worked fine but the second night no network I used worked. It’s definitely something on the OS level…

Yeah it's blocking you at the site. Cloudflare's WAF (Web Application Firewall) has flagged your computer for some reason. Someone on the site admin side will have to look at the Firewall Event Log and see what triggered it. Depending on the policy they have configured, the block could be permanent until manually removed...no real way to know.

Sigh....looks like you inadvertently pissed off Skynet

Ugh rip… that’s annoying. Can an admin chime in? Someone tag some admins or mods lol

Do you have a VPN that your macbook uses to connect to the internet? NordVPN, PIA, etc? Do you have any browser features turn on for VPN as well?

https://community.cloudflare.com/t/sorry-you-have-been-blocked/110790

If you do not have an VPNs up you will need to get your cloudflare ray ID and send it to the admin of the site so they can lookup within the CloudFlare admin dashboard why its being blocked. Youll need to use the devtools built into your browser (on firefox its f12) go to network, refresh the page. Click on the first GET query for the file `/`. Click Headers, Under the Response Headers section look for CF-RAY: XXXXXXXXX. That is your ID. Once done an admin can see why that request is failing.

There's gotta be a reason unrelated to forum why CF hates you right now.
Do you have issues on other sites?
I'll go on a limb and assume your computer is compromised for WAF to be blocking you.
Shouldn't be forum related.
Virus/Trojan/Malware/CryptoMining/etc.. either one of these... or you're using super old stuff that's vulnerable. Are your OS/apps up to date?

As an alternative, which again will not resolve your computer issues, is changing the DNS or as suggested try a VPN. There are free VPNs out there for trial purposes.

Try the easiest DNS 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4..

I would tend to agree with this. There's some reason your computer is triggering the WAF. I suspect something "changed" around the time you started getting the Captcha challenges and eventually you just got blocked.

I presume you keep MacOS updated, so I’m wondering if you have Private Relay enabled in your iCloud settings. If not, try enabling it…if already enabled then disable it. Also, clear your history/cookies after making a change.
