I'm on holiday in NYC, so all I've done is long for my Supra.

But hello if this was you just south of Time Square this evening. ??

Me and a buddy met up to celebrate our other buddy's mom's b-day lol. After that, i went in for my famous "badges install" with the blacked out everything. Then i got to drive it around and feel what a Pure 800 Supra feels like. ? i feel slow now.

Received my wheel from @NitroYellowMKV , man did Toyota miss the mark with the stock one. Next up is the Pure from @Jesse DaBears . Great group of people on here to learn from and support ?
I did the seat belts and start/stop button a few weeks ago.

I think it might be too much... but that's what vinyl is for (or just phone it in and photoshop it till you like it and then make it permanent) - the right bit of exposed CF is likely to look better integrated vs. nothing else but the hood being CF. IMO

Alternately you could just replace the roof and hatch with CF pieces... for a more integrated look... but that's only going to run ~$5K-8K more than painting. ;) Your ride though so go with what looks the best to you. At least the wheels will tie in to the CF somewhat.
I shoulda specified wing and not hood, but I think all these same thoughts apply. I think Iā€™ll run it CF for a few days and if it feels like too much it is super easy to pop off for a few days to run it out for paint.

LOL I've been looking at hoods and just read too much into your post. Wing wouldn't be an issue IMO - and in that case you could add the side skirts and front lip down the road if you wanted to balance it out more. It would be just the "right amount" of CF I think.

Here's my hood, Seibon TSII style hood painted, the roof is wrapped in glossy black, and I have a Varis GT CF wing. I wanted the hood to be wrapped in white, but none of the vinyl shops in my area could not match the absolute zero "white," they said there's a little bit of a pearl in the paint.

good luck with your spoiler! im sure whatever you choose will be fine.

Finally put on the stuff thatā€™s been sitting around all winter:
  • Tinted side markers and GR Supra logo from StickerFab
  • Aurebesh (giant nerdā€¦ I know) Supra lettering from Etsy
  • BMW dead pedal from Amazon
Canā€™t wait until more consistently warm weather!

3D print my own wind deflector!

Not that perfect of a fitment but hey! it works well and no money were spent!

Might tweak a little in the future.
