Not bad.. wish the front fenders were not as tall .. sleek look of the S2K is what I had in mind. Michelin tires.. wish we could’ve made out the tire size.
not going to happen these days due to the pedestrian safety requirement with the hood/bonnets and engine height. To get the low bonnet profile and wheel arch closer to the top surface of the bonnet, they need a flatter engine aka a Boxer... or move the engine in the rear/mid rear.

Yeah.. Pedastrian safety in Europe changes a lot of design elements on the cars. Yeah.. I’ll trade the Subaru boxer for even a cheese burger.. hate that thing. Much better off with the BMW powerplant.

never noticed this reflector before either. updated rear bar?
There is an orange reflector mounted similarly up front as well. I suspect this prototype is very close to production-ready.

I'm excited to see all the buzz around the car! Even though it will have camo on, it will be minimal and give us a great idea of the size and design of the car. Plus, as others have said, we'll get to actually hear it

this is the production car wrapped in camo; it is still technically a prototype, but it's 99.9% the final version according to a junior engineer and my good friend, who is also friends with Tada.

also, for everyone getting confused on the year thing:

In NA we release models a year ahead, so while this car is a 2019 car in other countries like Japan, it will be a 2020MY in North America. The reason the Nascar Supra has 2019 in the hood is because it is debuting for the 2019 Nascar season and is not related to the production model regardless.

Figured as much. It looks completed at this point. I would expect any changes from here on out will only be made if they really have to.

Hopefully that .1% change will result in some sexier sleek looking mirrors. :) Worst case I'll just swap them out with aftermarket units or the ones from the E89 Z4 if they will fit.

Couldn't lock up press accreditation for this one sadly. Found out about it too late I think. Sad too, Goodwood is high up on my bucket list, and this would have been a special one.
Can you just Photoshop some fake press badges? ;)

If the sz-r and rz is true A70, do you see yourself getting the 3000 lb version over the rz?

Or is it possible this 3350 lb machine has some tricks that makes it worth the purchase?

Especially considering a GRMN version is coming down the road.

I'm not allowed to comment on the trim/options, and even if I was they are still in the air as that falls outside engineering for the most part.

For me personally, if the SZ-R is 6cyl @ 3070lbs, then the weight alone will sell me honestly. As I get older I have realized how unbelievably important it is to start as light as possible in a sports/track car.

Drivetrain, engine, body, and interior... ECU, suspension, tires, diff settings, etc will be tested continually.

These would work so much better with the exterior design vs the ones from the 3 series.

I didn't want you to reveal any details but rather your opinion and experience of driving if there's any merit over the 3000 lb version of the car cause having such a light car sounds as if they kept the one you test drove and enjoyed.

Furthermore, has the supra improved their nurburgring time? Or is that classified as some form of promo down the line with on board footage?

I have never ridden in or drove anything beyond an original 6cyl mule (3000lbs)... I am now under a different division, and as such I have little information on what the RZ level car will provide as far as more performance; it's all conjecture.

I have not heard of any times beyond the point where I was told of the Ring times and Spa lap with the mules.
