There is just no fixing the headlights on the Z. I really want to like it, wanted to pick one up as a daily, but someone posted a meme with a picachu comparison and now that’s all I see ?

I'll be the first to admit I have some problems with the styling choices that were made with the MKV... but they pale in comparison to the problems I have with the Z's styling.

I will wait until I've seen a few in person, but at this moment, that Z isn't doing anything for me and when I first saw the Supra sold at Barrett Jackson, I loved it and told myself I needed one. Seeing it in person solidified that for me.

It gets worse the longer you look. I'm a 280 and 300z fanboy all day but this is bad.

I don't mind the new Z, but those pics make me appreciate the Supra even more. It's just so cool and exotic looking. No need for mods.

We gotta remember that GR Supra came with Z4 chassis, wheel base, etc. restrictions that caused major downgrades from FT-1 among other BMW restrictions. Yet, came out...WINNING!
I never understood why the headlight needed to extend so far to the center. but everything from the lip spoilers to the double bubble roof and side skirts additions stand out. Love the front bumper _| |_ shape. Can't say the same for err the "ok, we give up, here is your rectangle box" Z design ?
GR86 and Z were somewhat freer of such restrictions.
In pictures I do like the rear end of Z (2nd pic). and the side angled shot (3rd pic), but cannot like the front bumper... Also, when I saw the Z review videos, I felt the taillights are weak sauce. Perhaps they look nice at night, but not so much during the day
