Yeah, as you can imagine this made the rounds on the C8 forums and groups...ha!

I was pretty amazed and impressed it made it through that flood as well!

One of the dumbest things ive done was take my name off that list when i bought the Supra. I kick myself for it all the time. Now i know i couldve sold that spot when it came up or just sold the car and made 5-10k easy for doing nothing. I bought the Supra last year because i kept getting emails that it was later and later until build date..

I put myself on MacMulkins wait list...They're one of the 2 largest Vette Dealerships in US...They average 120~130 sales per month...Best part is they sell at MSRP with no dealer markup fees...They don't allow selling of spots though....wait times are running about 10~12 months....

I still have a few months wait...Here is a few pics of the interior....

I'm loving the hell out of mine and it pairs nicely with the Supra. Definitely a yin and yang.

I am super stoked about the Z06 -- as soon as I can get an allocation and a 'reasonable' deal I'm all in. Acknowledging that will likely be 2-3 years away, though...

The C8 is a cool car, but I’m not a Vette guy (personally never really had any interest in them). That said, if I had a pick of any Vette (year, trim, etc…), the C7 ZR1 would be it….hands down the GOAT in the Vette lineage.

c7 ZR1 is pretty much the pinnacle of front engine- rear wheel drive track ready car

Agreed - the C7 ZR1 is 100% badass. I don't consider myself a 'Corvette guy' per se, but I have owned a few C5 Z06, C6 and C6 ZR1. I was actually dead set on a C7 ZR1 a few years back. I sold my C6 ZR1 (which side note: the only car I've sold that the word regret starts to enter my mind) and got totally distracted by another toy and put the C7 idea on hold for a bit. In the meantime they went to the moon and are now unobtanium... :banghead: Someday, maybe...

That all said, the C8 is a game changer, IMO. I wasn't terribly interested in them until I lived with one for two weeks and totally fell in love. It's a working man's 458 and is 100% every day usable in terms of usability/practicality and the HTC is the best of both worlds. The front lift is an absolute must-have as well. All of the previous gens scrape the front on everything, even at stock ride height. The C8 with the lift will drive over anything within practical reason unscathed.

I guess I am a Vette person (ha!) having owned new C4, C5, C7 over the years and soon to be C8! But I've also owned many other sports cars throughout the years, including the Supra obviously, which I still love!

Yep, I've had the opportunity to actually drive a C7 ZR1 for a few weeks and it was quite the experience! It certainly is the "current" GOAT of Vettes...But the C8 is a much different, more refined sports car...

That said I'm more excited about the C8 ZORA...Having driven a number of C8s, while waiting for mine to arrive, I can tell you that the ride and handling in the C8 is far superior to that of my last C7...It's a different class of sports car....I wouldn't be all that surprised that the C8 Zora is going to blow away the C7 ZR1 in every aspect...

Off topic but heading to the gym this morning I FINALLY saw a C8Z haha. Michigan plates so it’s probably a loaner test vehicle but I’m in Bowling Green so they’re built here but seeing one in person is significantly different than the photos that have gone around since the reveal.
