Sounds like very good news. The Femto unlocks (not the clone) only give access to the calibration area, and they can do a limited amount extra for each tuning platform like torque limiter removal, in their lab.true unlock, not limited tables like the downgraded hardware clone. So hypothetically that means you should be able to program in lots of different features and it should eliminate all the piggy back band-aids to run PI and the other good stuff.
They are finishing some programming and configuration with other vehicles on the compression tool that spits the programming back into the DME. They actually made another post about it today

The Femto unlock and the clone allows you to access and modify all of the tables. With the unlock, you cannot access the second memory area, which allows for custom software to be loaded. The clone is 100% unlocked as if you had a 2020 MY.

Does this work mean you could run whatever tuning software platform you want? EcuTek/bm3/MHD for instance, or is it targeting a specific one, or their own kit entirely? Any affiliation with bFlash?
Any plans to expand our of the US? ?

Whats the complete shipping costs for that other solution from start to finish and what's the wait time? What carrier is used?

If you use a high-traffic dealer to do this process it's about $4800 to get an OTS tune with ECUTEK. From what I see it's about 2 week turnaround. Still always risking your factory ECU getting lost in the mail.
If you do it on your own you will save a buck, but still need to source an ECU. Still have the risk of losing your ECU in the mail, or getting slapped like @zrk did by customs.
If you use a reseller, you ship your factory ECU to the reseller, who then forwards this to FEMTO in Finland. FEMTO charges about $750 for the service, then sends your reseller back your factory ECU, plus a flash file ready to be dumped onto your donor ECU.wait, what's the shipping process? Why would @zrk get smacked by customs?

I have 2 OTS tunes and 2 custom tunes after this process, with ECUTek.
