Supra vs ….

Just some Friday humor and maybe some discussion. Who was in the wrong here? Oh in the comments, we apparently drive super cars so we are entitled to the road. ??
(Obligatory, not my video)

Lol, I was scrolling through reddit and saw this too

IMO, it's really hard to say who's wrong. There's no stop signs and there's poor visibility with the bushes, it just looks like a poor parking layout/design to me

If I was in the Supra I would have stopped and try to look. The Bushes would have made it hard to see so I would have crept out slowly.

As stated Parking lots are basically a shitshow and you have to always be looking and ready to work with someone else.

This, I’m real skeptical of other drivers so I drive defensively for the most part. That said, I turn up my spidey sense in parkinglots due to what we just saw.

It doesn’t help that someone backed into my parked car as I was loading grocery’s in the trunk. I think I got some PTSD from that.

I don't know. I watched that a few times.

I'm not sure the Supra coming out of the bushes didn't scare the OP, OP braked hard, Supra saw OP car dip and Supra moved on. I say this because the Supra appears to be slowing (not stopping) to perhaps see around the bush. I'm not convinced that if OP hadn't have stopped that the Supra didn't have time to stop before entering your lane.

So if anything, I might say Supra was a bit aggressive with the approach, OP balked, Supra drives off.

I can see that scenario playing out as you described.

Between drivers, the Supra is more at fault if the intersection functions like a T-junction, but the biggest fault by far is the designer of the lot using tall bushes to hide visibility.

I personally take it slow in parking lots -- too much can go wrong between pedestrians, other cars cutting the corner on turns, lack of signs, etc.

If you're going straight you have the right of the way. The Supra should of yield and waited. It's common sense to slow down when you come up to a intersecion that makes you turn.
