Hope you're okay. What do you mean "so much more"? Handling? Power?
Handling, power, luxury, flash. I bought a Toyota, got a BMW. I didn't get a test drive so I had no expectations. This handled like a dream, had the torque to take your breath away, and was neck breaker. Truly my favorite car of the many cars I've had.

Other vehicle made a left into my right of way, got deer eyed and stoped, my vehicle swerved and collided the rear half.
Ouch - presumably, you’re ok.

Question: did you have the forward collision safety stuff on? (Not sure what trim/options you had.)

Also, definitely report back and let us know if the G8X is really worth the extra ~$30k. I keep thinking that’s the next step, so it’s interesting to see Supra owners go down that path.

No injuries what so ever. In fact my lack of injuries was baffling the first responders.

This was a fully loaded trim, premium 3.0. The forward collision was on and set at the most safest sensitivity "early." But the driver just made left into the road at the worst moment.

Wear safe sunglasses, I was wearing my Persols with prescription lens, so glad the air bag didn't crack them.

Going through the salvage thread most major accidents the cockpit is intact. Very sturdy.

Glad you’re okay @felcrum
I had a similar accident and was amazed how well the car took a hit. I ordered another. You should do the same ?

BMW really makes amazing machines, the Supra is amazing, the F82/ G82 are much more tempting. Maybe even a M40i Z4.

My RC350 lease is set to end in a few months.
What is the availability on the manual Supras?

Not sure availability on the manual. But do know I’ll probably be waiting another month or two for my phantom w/red. These cars are high demand as they should be. And they’re lighter and cheaper than similar BMWs. Like you, huge fan! Worth the wait imo

Said bye. This car was so much more than I expected. I genuinely loved this car. It guaranteed that it's replacement must be manual Supra, or a M4. I will be back!

giving away my flex fuel kit, unused.
Versus anti buffeting, uninstalled .
And the Heritage Carbon fiber wing, as is.

btw, this car crashed wonderfully, exactly like My friends m4. The airbags just coddle you.
Glad you walked away! Damn ?
