Ok so just done crawled over every inch of the car with a camera. McPherson strut front double a arm rear. More to come asap
Ayyyy that's my mann!!

I imagine Ryley jumping over the ropes and snapping pictures at an almost manic rate, security fruitlessly trying to pull him back. Only when the third taser finally hit him did he fall, but by then, the damage was done, and all the pictures were already somewhere in the cloud...

These are specs for the GR concept though, right? Do they translate over to the regular model?
The suspension should be similar at least, as they can't change too many of the hard points that make up the factory geometry. Underbody shape/general chassis design will be the same as well.

Files still uploading to cloud, then will resize, then get them up! In the meantime, if you have any questions, please ask away.

cliff notes:

The car is quite small in person. The flowing lines are very impressive up close - the bubble roof is also much more accentuated. The details in the taillights and headlights is also very very nice.

The bestcar renders seem to look bulbous at the front, but the actual concept looks rather focused and pointy.

The chassis panels are fascinating. It echos what A70 said about it being a racecar first - the internal bulkheads have clearances to allow for the perfect roll cage. One of my good mates who came with me that builds a lot of cages said it looked like a dream to work with.

The cabin is quite small, very, very low floorpan. We weren't allowed to sit in it, but I did poke behind the panel on the trans tunnel and there was no hole for any sort of shifter, and only vague templates.

The front end was a simple MacPherson strut, no springs, purely to move it around. The components were pressed and obviously nowhere near production spec.

Rear was double A-arm, but there was so much aero you couldn't see much. The whole floor was flat.

I had to do some media release stuff, but while I was a friend went ballistic with the digital SLR. I'll get that uploaded and send the juicy pics out.

Big thanks to Toyota Au for letting the Victorian Supra club crawl over every inch of the car.
