Mine is also in a QC Hold in Newark, NJ. It apparently says to check back every Friday for an update and could be up to a 30 day hold. Bummer, was thinking I could get my car this week.

Honestly, I'm not expecting to see anything until as late as mid-October. In these times, just plan for the worst and hope for the best. I don't much care when I take delivery, as long as it gets here unharmed and at the right price.

Wonder if they are keeping them for QC check until all the media stuff is done and the reviews are out. Probably want paid reviews out first before real people get their hands on them.

definitely a good perspective to have. My allocation has been at the port since 8/2 so was thinking it would be delivered to the dealer any day.

My dealer is having me actually sign my final docs and pay entire balance tomorrow for the car. Usually donāt pay for a car until you get it right? Maybe they know something we donāt about this qc hold. Anyone else here actually sign their final docs, not just an intent to buy? Price is up in the air until you do that. I was trolling btw. I didnāt pay no $35k over..you out of your fukān mind??!!

I mean.. If they are trying to get you to pay for the car before you even see/arrive at the dealership then I wouldnāt. Thatās kinda the point of a deposit to hold it for you. Iām not paying anything until I inspect it.

Usually legit concern, but itās new and Iām gonna have my bro there to inspect since Iām buying it out of town. I just hope they do a good job on the xpel ppf. They charging me the $5k over for it after all.

I get it. Iām buying mine from out of town too. Itās just kinda odd that they are requesting you to do that. But if you are comfortable with doing that and everything works out then go for it. At the end of the day we are super excited for these cars lol
