I an hoping, praying BimmerCode comes out with an update that we can remove the BMW Burbley Backfire BS without needing to go the tuning route.
this is not possible. Fueling is controlled by the ECU, and BimmerCode can't touch it.

I don’t hear any pops or bangs when he lifts off throttle. It it because the car is a manual? That an auto thing? That’s a big reason I like the Supra. I guess. Time will tell.
I had a closer look at the video and from what I can tell, it looks like this clown didn't even have it in sport more. 🙄

Thank Jesus. Fuck bangs and burbles. Fuck them right to hell with their fucking loud ass annoying bullshit.

But also, sounds like it's in comfort mode.

Why do you have to be so hateful about my beloved pops and crackles and bangs?

I bought all the SPL suspension parts, lowering springs, sway bars and the loudest exhaust I could find. Had I known the 2023 would have solved all my suspension and exhaust needs, I coulda shoulda waited another month 😭 😂

I dunno, but I hate them.
I only hate them when they're obviously fake. A catless, genuine tuned turbo car will have some major bangs on up shifts as actual unburnt fuel ignites downstream of the turbo, often with a visible flame out the tailpipe. That is always neat.

What's different about the suspension on MY23?

Kind of my tongue and cheek reply to not enough to make me want to wait and not buy my 2022. I’m sure any suspension tweaks are minimal at best and remember reading something about power delivery uphill while turning 🙄. I think this car handles tremendously on the street and has a ton of power (bang for the buck). That’s very subjective but how I feel. I also love BMWs 🥰. Regardles, I want to track my car a little bit more than average, have some previous track experience with other cars, so I’d want to do these mods anyway 😃
I think if anyone hasn’t driven the car yet, regardless of year, are going to love it!!!!

“Regardless of transmission, all six-cylinder Supras get retuned suspension and steering, the former of which is supposed to make the car more comfortable. Traction and stability control systems have also been retuned, and a new Hairpin+ drive mode introduced for better cornering on tight mountain roads. The four-cylinder Supra 2.0 gets some suspension and braking system tweaks carried over from the revised 3.0, but otherwise carries over”

Just saw this.

https://autofile.co.nz/sports-car-gets-manual-

"A gear-shift assistant (GSA) detects the driver’s shifting and synchronises the engine speed with the gear, helping to stabilise the vehicle and assist smooth shifting. When the drive mode is set to sport, the GSA can be turned off – it is always on during normal drive mode."

🤮

Thank fuck for bimmer code and coding the car to always be in sport mode!
