If anyone is interested it’s Hiland Toyota out of Moline Illinois has a cu later still available. It’s 10k over if you’re out of state and 5k over if you’re local. Actually pretty decent if you’re local. Good luck

Hard to believe there isn't a waiting list of buyers at this dealership... maybe the demand for this is not as high as I thought it was.

In Moline? I'm surprised they even have cars in the Quad Cities.

Just wait and be patient
The bubble for used cars has come.down and so will new cars
Interest rates are through the roof
I wouldn't pay adm on principal
Rather give it away to a charity that feeds the homeless

I totally agree on never paying ADM on principal (and drove 25 miles away from closest dealer to get my MKV for that reason). However, I certainly haven't seen "the bubble for used cars coming down" here at all. In almost every case, whether car, truck, or SUV - it's still cheaper to reserve a new allocation than to buy a used, similarly optioned, 19/20/21 model with 30K-40K miles on the clock!

I am no car market expert (however I did stay at a Holiday Inn once), but it seems to me we are probably at the high water mark for the car market. I don't expect things to get worse from this point forward... but here by me the used market is still fubar. And the, shall we say "desirable" new car market is likewise fubar. Yes, you can go to a Chrysler lot and have something approaching a selection without much in the way of markups... but it's a Chrysler lot. Go to the Toyota or Honda dealer next door and their lot looks like empty event parking. So long as the desirable new cars are still on a waiting list, desirable used cars will carry inflated prices and values.

I don't see the car market returning to normal either. I think the days of huge lots full of new cars waiting to sell and being carried on dealer books is over. We might be at the crest of the hill, but there is still a long, long way down to something approaching normal.

E-Trade** is one of the things I do in front of the computer all day and INFLATION is here to stay for a while..

With the current economy crisis and the INFLATION being all time high over 8% since the 1980's, I don't see the buyers market settling down anytime soon meaning we will pay more for just about everything including little things like grocery and extra surcharge for just about everything.

With cars like Supra's, especially A91's that come in such a micro size low volume with high demand, it is no surprise Mark-UP aka market adjustment will shoot up in flames.

I am sure people have reasons to pay Mark-UP + ALPHA(5K + ) to get this car. And if I turn down, there are dozens of people willing to pay more for it and dealers won't turn it down and jack it up even higher.

Its the price we have to pay for current auto industry with low volume cars.. I know it... It sucks..

On the other note, Japan is getting super exclusive " GR Supra RZ Matte White Edition" which is identical to our A91-MT Burnout white in super micro size volume of 50 Units only. Yes, 50! and Lets not even talk about the Mark-UP Alpha ++ they have to pay.. Easily $100K US Currency

Manheim auctions showed a drop in used car auctions for 3 straight months going back to June
It is a slow trickle from wholesale to retail, but it is happening
6-8 weeks retail pricing lags behind wholesale
The 90+ days delinquency rate for auto loans are also rising, which will lead to repossession and an increase in inventory
