Good time to bust out those race ramps! I thought everything was drought and fire in CA… I guess it’s like everyone thinking we’re under constant hurricanes here in FL ?
They said we got a years amount of rain in 3 hours. It was pretty wild. Half my drive to work was on dirt roads since everything flooded so bad. Supposed to get round 2 later today...

That looks a whole lot like Summit Shenandoah if I’m not mistaken.
If I am, ignore this, if not, how’s the Supra on a tighter course like that?

I know my genesis could get a little hop on the bridge straight, and the carousel was always fun.
you are spot on.

Supra- for me- has been great on tight technical tracks like Shenny and big power ones like Main next door.
Can def catch air there at bridge

Only my second time at Shenny. was in scca TT event. Brought times down pretty rapidly. went a 138.1 Car as it is set up has 136/135 in her. Meat in seat needs more time there.

I was at main there in June for the NASA event and I can agree that it was great there. Trusting the car to make it through turn 4 at crazy speeds followed by rocketing through 10 and riding the pavement all the way to, and sometimes past the kerbing was a great time.

I wish I could continue to afford to track it, and give it a run on Shenandoah but that’s what I bought and modded a Miata for. Which is right at home on Shenandoah.

Washed the car up and drove it over to a buddies house to help him start tearing apart his Miata. He is turning it into a track car so we gutted the entire interior, minus the dash, and installed a set of Fortune Auto Coils. I snapped some pics of the car in his driveway before starting on the Miata. I never get tired of looking at this car.

I will introduce the supra River. Insane rain here in SoCal. Garage is flooded and every single door leading outside is pouring water in. There is a good 3" of water surrounding most of my house right now. Would be a good insurance claim except I have bare cement floors right now...

As someone with no homeowners experience .. how can you even protect your house against flooding or flood damage? Just have good insurance and hope it never happens to you?

My issue is that the previous owner had cement put in all around the house and they didnt dig deep enough before laying it down. So I only have an inch height difference between the walkway and side door opening. On top of that, all the water can only drain out that one path from the backyard. Granted we dont get much rain here so its really not a huge ordeal, until it is.
