If your door uses a rolling code, the procedure is slightly different. Turns out mine is.... Which I figured out after 15 mins of failure?

Mine is rolling code, which is why I am having trouble programming it. Its one of the smart systems where I can open the door from my phone. Can get extra remotes programmed, separate button for the living room programed, my phone but not the car....

I installed the blitz bar and the Verus Heat Shield in 20-25 minutes. Both items feel and look like nice quality.

Not here to rain on anyone's parade, but as nice as that cover fits (like a glove!), anything that lacks mirror pockets just feels cheap to me.

Spent the day shifting with just the gear selector. I will die on this hill but Down for upshifts is the worst configuration in the world and if you don't agree you are scientifically wrong.

Think of it this way, when you are accelerating it throws you back, thus pull back on the lever (hang on). When you are braking the force is pushing you forward, thus push the lever forward (brace yourself).

My paraplegic friend's hand throttle/brake control in his 135i operates that way. Forward for acceleration, back for braking.

Think it's because 6 speeds end on a gear lever pull. Or most forceful gear changes are on pull gears using the bicep.. lol idk
