Lol extremely comedy for a guy who barely knows me. Have a coke and a smile I dnt need to be acceptable to you and honestly I didn't do the badge switch for your acceptance. If you read which I clearly posted why I got the badge and my understanding you'd know. But I guess with being a smart ass reading ain't as fundamental to you.... BTW never owned a Honda in my life ? ? ?
It was an analogy, but it's all good. You do you. ?

Good bye everyone. Car was hit head on at an intersection to an on ramp. I was stopped the other person was booking it coming over a hill and never hit the brakes. Hit me so hard it spun me completely around.

Everyone is fine. Other car was in way better shape.

The Supra did a great job protecting me and the other driver.
Wow dude! Soooooooo glad ur okay and sorry you’ve joined the me and my Supra survived the crash club. I didn’t even post it for about a month I was so upset ?. Now you can get a 2023 with the insurance money! They gave me $5k over what I paid, which was nice. I still bought the 2nd one at MSRP. So be patient and shop around. If you can afford to wait….

BTW, @puppers has the best looking Supra I’ve ever seen ? I would get exactly that from my favorite dealer! In fact, I try not to think about his Supra. Afraid my Supra might figure out I have eyes ? on another ?

Yesterday I finished removing all of the interior panels and noise deadening material from the trunk of the car. Still working on the hatch section, given the gasket presses up against the plastic, it appears, and seals that way. So I'm trying to figure out a way to remove it, but still having a water tight seal.

Floor area of trunk:

Next up, speaker box and headliner!

It happens a lot. It’s not a MAF, just a temp sensor, a leak there doesn’t matter and it’ll work fine with one bolt.

Oh, yea, the feasibility of cutting it looks very slim if at all.
Here are some pics from yesterday.

Subframe at normal height, nut removed and the bolt pushed about 1/2” out

Here is a hackzall blade on the bolt, ready to cut

I didn’t do it, just placed it there. It’s tight but should be doable, you’d have to be careful not to hit the mount or the lines that are nearby. I’m not sure I’d recommend it. Dropping the subframe does take several hours due to the number of bolts/brackets/etc that have to be removed, but it’s not difficult. You’d probably end up spending close to as long trying to safely cut that bolt and break the bolt on the spindle side of that arm free as you would dropping the subframe and getting yourself a ton of extra room to work.

Looks to me like you're dropping the subframe out no matter which way you want to point it, and based on its length, I'd be stunned if it could face the other way without hitting the subframe itself anyways.
Here is the bolt removed and inserted the other direction. There’s plenty of room for it to move without hitting the subframe, even with a socket and wrench stacked on

Thanks if I can't get a replacement I may first try a machine shop to see if they can extract and tap a new hole failing that I'll just bodge it with some sealant

he said a bold sheered off on the charge pipe. That is not a place where you can have a leak. It is MAP sensor in the charge pipe, it cannot leak.

Definitely agree, doable but not advisable. Better to just do it right instead of trying to do it quick. Big thanks for giving it a proper look!

He said he was installing the MST intake, no need to remove the charge pipe for that. I assume he just called the inlet pipe a “charge pipe” by mistake. I probably shouldn’t be making assumptions like that though…
