Would you drill holes in your trunk to mount a wing/spoiler?

Just curious to see what people think about drilling holes in your trunk to mount a wing or spoiler?! Really considering a wing but I don't know...

I did it for my RX-8. Got it out of my system long ago.

If you do it, remember: measure twice, drill once. If you cut into any metal to make sure to protect it with paint or something Hydrophobic

Luckily the hatches on the Supra are plastic, easy to drill and no worries about rust.

Might do the same especially for a reasonable price

I'm waiting to see what is offered spoiler wise on the next coming years - after that I will decide what type of spoiler to put on.

I have a replica A91 Spoiler on now, currently leaning towards an OEM one where you have to drill.

drill baby drill. not a Ferrari or something. only 50k car make it want you want.

If i had a GT4/GT3 i would be hesitant. But they are basically perfect from the factory too

For some people, a $50k is equivalent to a Porsche 911, Ferrari or Bugatti. Its all perspective but don't gas light some of us poor people :) . My RX-7 is worth way more to me than the Supra is even though its half the price of it.

He asked what i thought... and that is what i think. I am not rich, but cars are just fun toys to me. I get the attachment to silly older models. I have an old M3 i would not drill.
The Supra is worth several times the old M3 and i am denting, drilling, scuffing the Supra as fast as I can ;)

Been there, done that. Why? because Toyota's OEM supra is fairly heavy and has 4 screw posts and 1 random center post that are not removable to secure it. It actually wasn't a terrible install and fitment and finish was of course perfect.
