Got a call back from my stealer saying that Toyota will likely build all Australian Supras in one big batch due to our relatively low volume and the manufacturing pain in the ass from switching between RHD and LHD builds, etc. They also went on to mention that Australian cars will likely get built early 2023.

Lots of conflicting information flying around. Also, they mentioned that "official" pricing will hit the Toyota website in the next two weeks.

This is my total as of today. I'm told they will "attempt to get a January build".

Goodwood Grey was a placeholder colour for the order (and is discontinued for 23+), so I had to prompt a confirmation for Azure Blue.

Ignore the dashcam, may not go through the dealer for supply/install.

Contacted dealership yesterday via email and got the following response:

Hi xxxx,

Hope you are doing well!

Your order was submitted and the factory has received the order.

We are waiting on them to give us a production date and a dealer ETA.

There is a chance the vehicle could get manufactured next month. If that is the case, you should receive your car by end of January to Mid-February. It will be the new MY23, however the build date will be Dec 2022.

Will have to check the status by end of this month and see if that changes.

I was hoping they would contact me before submitting the order like he told me he would, as i wasn't 100% sure on the Alcantara seats and i have since decided i do not want them, they will try modifying the order but may need to cancel and resubmit.

same here mine stuck in A20 since Sep 15th, maybe they can only start get build now as the 2023 A90 just open to accept build orders?

I ordered my Azure Blue MT Supra early September.

It actually got entered in to the Toyota system pretty quickly but it's stuck at A00 status which from what I gather means it's in the system but the factory hasn't accepted it yet?! It originally had a planned production month of November so I thought on the 10th the status would change and I'd get a vin.

I followed up with the dealer and it's still A00 and now the planned production month is January I asked what the go was and he said it's the unknown world of Toyota and we'll just have to sit tight for the time being.

Looks like Australian pricing is up on the website. My configuration is slightly over the $500 increase, maybe paint and alcantara have gone up too. Sneaky.

I don't like the "Indicative model and pricing only. Due to extended wait times, the final vehicle we can offer you and its price are likely to be different." notice on the pricing page though.

Since when has placing an order and leaving a deposit not been able to guarantee you what you ordered for the price you agreed.

Yeah it sucks, I spoke with dealer this week and was told if price increases by the time I take delivery, then i will pay the new price. I asked what if I'm not happy with the new price and he said they'd be stuck with the car

Anyway, i doubt it's going to increase by the time i take delivery and if it does, I'm assuming will be minor.

Wow nice Vanta, has been a long wait for you!
I got an updated contract yesterday but still no batch number, it is scheduled for a Nov build tho so it isnt far away hopefully.
That means probably Feb until I see a car.
Really dissapointing given I put money down in May and at the time was told October delivery. I didnt believe that but I thought it would be this year at least

How are you all getting all this information from your stealers. Do you guys call them every other day? I call mine once a month and I get nothing out of them. Ugh.

I have A00 status for an Azure Blue MT (factory received order awaiting production), but I specified a June '23 del due to house/driveway renos & can't get a low/body kit into current garage. Sounds if I said 'giddy up' on delivery it'd lucky to be 3mths earlier anyway.
