So would you recommend trying to go for a 23 over other years?
Depends. Best handling with stock power yes. Want to go 1/4 mile as fast as possible, get a 2020 so you can get a real tune for a reasonable price.

THanks folks this is what i wanted to see. So would you recommend trying to go for a 23 over other years?
Considering the only way to properly enjoy a car like the Supra is with a stick, I would highly recommend a 23+

Anyone expecting any changes for 2024? I am really hoping they add a green colour!

Early model 2021s are the best. The ECU is still tunable, and it has lower compression and 6-port heads for higher power. 2020 is a close step behind since the ECU is still tunable. All the others are way down the list since tuning is very expensive due to the locked ECU.

Most people don’t mod their cars and the ones that do can afford to unlock an ecu. Nobody cares about the 2nd and 3rd owners and how cheaply they can do something. They will target the early ones anyway because they are cheapest in the aftermarket.

An additional $4-5k just to get a tune is a serious investment for any build and needs to be taken into consideration.

Ehh. Most builds sure. A drop in the fucking ocean for some others.
