Tunes and reliability?

So I have another thread about running Sp1R exhaust and AA downpipes there’s some cool videos and pictures from other Supra owners if you want to go check that one out. But now we are talking about tunes. I am wanting to run bm3 stage 2 but don’t really know the reliability. I daily my car around 80-100 miles a day so I don’t want crazy hp to break things just enough to have fun and do some highway pulls. Anybody got any recommendations on what tuning platform or custom tuners I can reach out to? Also what stage are you running, how many miles have you put on with the tune, and have you had any problems?

Tuning is fine an dreliable, but for the love of god, don't use an OTS tune and assume the same. Every car is different, so getting a custom tune is paramount.

Getting an OTS tune is like assuming your new gf likes the same exact position as the other girls you been with, Every girl is different.

what @zrk said every car is different. I have AA DP, HKS Intake and Tomei Exhaust JB4 Custom Tune from @Jesse DaBears, Very satifsied. Got an E30/blend tune. I've had the car since April and have put 13k miles on the car...0 issues. I've done Autocross, rallies, pulls...Drives like a champ still.

Do you know a good tuner? Can’t you just hit custom tune on bm3 or mhd and reach out to someone for a custom tune? Like how does it work? I’ve looked up tuning shops in seattle and everyone says they are absolute trash lol

Zrk, I spoke to Marin last night, he won’t touch BM3 anymore. So you can take him off the list for BM3

I’m using OTS MHD stage 2 93 octane and it runs great smooth power and very noticeable over stock… Inplan I’m getting a custom 93 and E50 tune from fabian at pureboost in spring

Can concur the MHD OTS stage 2 tune at the 93 octane rating is what I daily. Good power bump and smooth, early boost
