It's a class thing. Car is "street legal" even without the street wheels. I drive it on the street with radials and skinnies.

But - yes. some classes require a full interior, or X miles without filling up or fucking with the engine bay.
Gotcha

The fact that they have to put a mileage before filing limit is astonishing. Are there drag cars getting wise fuel economy than a jeep at full throttle (jet cars excluded)?

I'm going to take full advantage of this thread and continue to ask things... until you get tired of my shenanigans and ban me 😂

Do you honestly enjoy answering every question (this thread included) that pops up on the forum or do you do it because you feel obligated to?

No they don't usually, the non Supra guys. Just have large tanks. Some events will make the cars drive a certain distance or just idle for a certain amount of time. Also most don't allow the car to be towed to staging lanes or back to the pits after running.

Thanks. Drag specs are outside of my wheelhouse so good to get additional information on it

For a street car that won't see a drag strip but wanting more power, could you get away on stock trans with a pure800 on pump/e30 blend? Knowing the TQ limits and avoiding digs and hard launches...

For a while. Your tuner can put torque limiters in that keep you under 650 ft lbs.

Do you know if anyone makes burnt titanium oil/coolant etc caps for in the engine bay? I've seen the verus anodized red/blue/black.. thinking burnt titanium would look cool and match my charge pipe though.

Zack any big difference between JB4 and JB+ read a thread about it yesterday really considering it since its cheaper. Other than getting a map 6 from jesse any other major differences. Read that JB4 can add up to 6 psi while JB+ adds up to 4.5.

With a torque limit in the low 500s, could I avoid having to build out the transmission? I'd probably stick with running pump 90% of the time, and actually prefer a car that revs out rather than a wall of torque down low.
