My dealer says all cars arriving to their dealership are facing a massive delay.. FML.

Could it be due to the train accident in East Palestine? All trains coming from the East are probably going to delayed for a good bit.

I did the financing for my Stratosphere MT December 17th, was told it was ETA late January. I called the dealer January 9th and they said maybe late February?

I sent a message last Thursday, no response, sent another message Saturday and no response so I am getting a little irritated at the lack of communication.

When I check Toyota-Tracker, it's been in Allocation from the beginning. How long does a car stay in Allocation from the time it's delivered? About 3 months? I'm thinking of going to the dealer myself this week for an update.

It took me 7months to get one (Black premium/MT) . 2k markup, but they gave me 5k off on extended coverage (platinum 10years with 125k miles), other warranties.

Does your car appear on Toyota's own website if you search for Supra inventory near you? If so, how does the Toyota website show the car? Does it just say "Vehicle is in build phase" or does it actually show an estimated availability? I've always assumed the Toyota tracker website just pulls data from Toyota's own inventory listings and dresses it up a little.

It appears on the dealership website and Toyota's website as in "Vehicle is in build phase"

I heard back from the dealer and they were able to find out that the car is at port just waiting to be picked up. There is apparently a big shortage on shipping vessels at the moment.

So for the people who have had their ship date delayed by two months, it could potentially ship out before that.

Interestingly, I found mine through Toyota's website but a few days after I bought it, it disappeared from Toyota's website and now I can only see it on the dealer website

My estimated delivery date has once again drastically changed and is now late Feb to late March. Got a text from the dealer that it’s expected to depart from rail on the 17th. Pretty sure it’s been sitting at the port for the past few weeks.

not sure if anyone is interested, but I found a yellow 3.0 MT for MSRP but you must be a resident of Ohio

I wish it was a premium. I would have snagged it in a heart beat ...I still havent gotten any updates about mine and I am loosing patience.
i leave for my month long trip overseas starting March, so if it doesnt come by then, im back to square one.

EDIT: The toyota tracker has now put the Supra back into allocation status??

For those of you in southern Texas, I found a manual 3.0 premium in white at North Park Toyota that isn’t claimed yet. However, they are marking it up. So if you’re OK with not paying MSRP there is one available that should be on the lot in a week.

I haggled back and forth today but wasn’t comfortable with the number they were giving me. I have one reserved at a different dealership for MSRP so I just couldn’t justify the excess money.

The wait continues…
