I still think they shouldve done the MT on the 2.0L. Why ruin a fast car with human intervention. My STI and Golf-R are faster on the streets (legal speeds) than a MT Supra..pretty stupid if you asked me.

You manual owners go from 0-100 real quick. I'm pretty sure @zrk is saying people pick the supra in general because it is quick and punches above its weight class regardless of manual or auto.

There aren't many better options for the price range and class. And drop a couple thousand and it does even better.

The supra stock regardless of transmission is faster than a majority of what's on the road.

Yes but in an auto there ARE faster options for similar money. When we are talking quick manual cars at this price point, well that's another story altogether.

You know what stops the new Z06 from being a super car? The same thing that stops my mechanically identical SC300 from being a MK4 supra. There is a plumber who has one or at least one that looks just like it.

the nuances of the MK5 will be noticed when they dry up in two years with only 30k cars and 3500 manual transmissions produced and no similar genre of Car ever replaces It.

one be wise to note a pet project of the CEO of one of the largest car companies who has gone on the record that he wanted to give drivers one last farewell. They maybe had to sell their soul a little bit to make it happen but what a faustian bargain they made. It might not be as Porsche as a cayman….but there is a plumber with one of those too.

JUNK CAR! What a piece of . . .

Owned since 2020, what a mistake, no issues, lots of looks, one guy screamed like a little girl he was so excited to see it. It was embarrassing! Comfortable, easy to wax unlike my FJ Cruiser, another piece of JUNK from Toyota with no issues.
