My only concern with this one is the reduction in front splitter ground clearance. One misjudgment and the front splitter is not just scraped but possibly ripped apart.
Yeah. I did consider that. While I don't have the actual car, I do have the sto-n-sho mount ready to go. I also was worried about that but it only reduces the ground clearance by about a centimeter or so, so I think it will be fine. I figure I'll just have to be a extra careful and it might even convince me to get that cool front camera mod that's been mentioned on these forums.

Hmmm I'll look into that one LFMAO, leaves more of the vent clear by the look of it but we have big plates, it will still block a big part of it I'd say.
I don't even have a drill though so not sure if I would be able to get anyone to install it for me, they wont want to drill holes in the front splitter.
Not sure what your plates are like but I think Victorian slimlines will work pretty well. Also, from what I understand, there is no drilling involved by design as a mount point is already on the splitter.. just remove the clip and bolt this on using the remaining hole.

And, you can easily remove the plates for track days.

Of course, I haven't had to install it yet, so it might end up being a nightmare. We'll just have to wait and see. ?‍♂

I like the design but the issue is ground clearance and the "one time" you mess up. I had a thought though. See if you can use aluminium fasteners or modify a steel fastener so if you do hit it it will just shear the fasteners off instead of damaging the splitter. I have the workshop capabilities to do this so I'll investigate when I get the car. You'll need to get out and pick it up of course if you clobber it, lol.

FWIW, I run the H&R springs and the front lip is very low. Actually the lowest of all my cars!

This approach isn't actually *that* low hahah

Dude…. That is insanely low ? I gotta admit, bought springs too low for my use (tracking). I got lucky with only a blown tire… But for in town, that looks badass! Just don’t pull a FLtrackdays and drive her on the track like I did ?. Coilovers are being installed as we speak. Stock height would have been fine too ??‍♂

Yeah, I hear you. The Supra specs suggest it is slightly higher than my FN2 Type R and I compared it with an auto Supra (sold) at my stealer last week.. and the specs seem on the money.

And yes, I scrape my Type R a fair bit but only because after 15 years I've relaxed my care factor and I've only ever scraped the under-car wind aero, not the actual front spoiler.

Along with being careful and keeping the Supra at its stock height, I think hope I'll be OK.

Just curious to know what others in Oz are paying for their supras. I’ll kick off.
Spec: 23 GTS Manual, Azure blue, tan leather interior.
Total paid to dealer: $101,087.01 (final cost driveway)
I just settled today with the car to be delivered end of month or early next month. Wondering if I got a deal or got ripped.

That sounds like a steal! What state? According to the website, I'm expecting to pay around $110,675 here in Victoria. GTS with Alcantara seats.

I’m in NSW. However, I did go through a car broker, which probably kept the price low.
Was curious to see if anyone else signed on the dotted line yet. But from the sound of it I’m pretty happy with what I paid for it mate.

That sounds about right. The paint job I think adds extra to it. Congrats mate!
