Hello all,

I was on track this weekend and took a high curb, got the message with the airbag light on right away.

Scanned with BimmerLink and got code 930934, Seat belt force limiter driver: Resistance too great, won't be able to clear code.

Edit(forgot to mention): The seatbelt was not locked up, it pulls and retracts normally...I checked on some BMW Forums with the same code says it's something to do with the buckle itself not the seatbelt, it clicks in and locks the belt in normally as well. Dealer would be my last resort as I have a tune and they will most likely lock my DME...

Any of you guys ran into this before or have any suggestions?

Does the seat belt pull and retract properly? Or is it just loose?

If loose, your pretensioner could have detonated due to the impact although minor.

Or its just malfunctioned due to the G forces...

You'd probably want to get it checked out as it maybe compromised

Did you get it resolved? I got the same code after installing steering wheel single stage airbag

I replaced the seatbelt and was able to clear it with Bimmerlink.

Seat belt replacement is very easy. You pop 2-3 panels off, undo the black/green plugs on the retractor, unbolt the belt from the chassis, and reverse to install new. Make sure battery is unhooked for this since the Supra has explosive emergency pretensioners; better safe than sorry.

If you have any seatbelt or restraint codes, Bimmerlink can clear them correctly whereas Bimmercode and Ecutek could not.

You'll need a torx set for this.
