When you do take a little road trip down to the dealer and drop that shit on their front desk without saying a word.
I'm all up for preventing theft but how about remove it when you sell the car? It goes into invasion of privacy and malicious intent afterwards. One could even sue the dealer for it. If you have the time, do it. That's twice now in 2 months that we know of. They should be putting them on Dodge's ??
Who has access to it at the dealer? Did they trace your whereabouts.
Go place some Tile on their cars, see how they like it..

Dude but that’s the thing.. I bought it off driveway.com, it was shipped up from California, and I took delivery at a BMW dealership in Seattle. Who the hell do I go to? I’ve left a voicemail at the service departments of the two dealerships, both of their sales say they have no idea? Has me thinking it was installed before this dealership.

@PNWDMM i sold cars at the Toyota dealership in Puyallup for years. I’ve never seen this issue before. Is there anything under the hood that looks aftermarket? Alarm, anything?

Nothing under the hood, no. I found the GPS tracker mounted essentially above the dead pedal when I pulled down the plastic cover. The previous owner put on some side skirts, a duckbill and $9 Amazon buffeting fix, but nothing mechanical.

This might be a stupid thought, but maybe you should run the vin at the CopShop and see if it’s stolen?

I actually had this problem also and called Karr security system (SWAT security). They told me the alarm that the dealership installed is still in dealership mode, and that chime you hear when you start the car is to let the driver know that the car is not in proximity of the dealership anymore. If you paid for the security system, you can call Karr to have them activate it and you won't hear that chime anymore. If you didn't pay for it, Call Karr anyways and they can disable it. Both of which can be done over the air. So no need to take the car in to the dealership. This was my experience, just sharing for anyone that get these annoying chimes in the future
