I just filled up but with only 2 gallons of E and the rest with 91. Definitely feel the difference with the JB+ turned to max and this E blend! Traction is more of a problem now, tires break loose a lot easier, butt dyno feels amazing and feel more of that pull!
Awesome! Glad to hear it worked well for you!

I’ll do 3 gallons of E next fill up, it feels soooo good right now! I’m not trying to make big power and simple gains like this satisfy me since I’m not chasing 8 seconds lol

Yup its a perfect spot for balance. Adding more power than that starts to require a lot more $$ in supporting mods. It now feels similar in acceleration to a G80 M3 I drove last year, and that's all I needed.

Make sure your tank is nearly empty if you do 3 gallons, otherwise follow the 1:3 ratio.

@ColonelAdama , just for reference to your last comment before I started to derail that thread lol, my dial was turn to even the half position when it was experiencing that odd turbulence and lack of pull.

I did just reinstall the JB+ and turned it to the default 3'oclock position and I'm going to toss in some E85 on my way to the gym. I'll report back this time, but in here haha.

Sounds good!

Just to confirm, you have a JB+ made for the Supra and not the generic B58 one? I remember reading a thread where someone's car was behaving strangely because they had the wrong unit.

@ColonelAdama - Yeah, the unit I bought from BMS directly is the unit compatible with the Supra.

Happy to report that I didn’t experience any issues with the JB+ turned on max with 3.5 gallons of E85. Did about 15 pulls and each one was strong with no hesitation or what was most likely the ECU pulling timing.

The documentation that came with the JB+ mentioned that 91 was sufficient - I’d assume it was sufficient for the entire range of increased boost, but apparently not

Needless to say, I won’t be returning my JB+ now, so I appreciate the advice a lot - thank you!

The amount of power available with the dial turned to max is pretty crazy. It’s just enough to satisfy the itch, while being discreet about it.

Glad to hear it's all sorted out! That's the one bummer about the JB+ compared to JB4; no data log to tell us our problem.

How are you liking yours still?
I still like it. The only thing I notice is a trans shift hesitation sometimes. Anyone else experience this?

Any when full acceleration near redline. I thought it was only in Sport Plus trans setting but happens in Sport too. Its not every time tho.

Also absolutely love the JB+ on mine. I left it at default with the AA Catted DP, Injen Catback and MST Intake
