I'm probably going to jump on the Femto wagon next month for a proper MHD OTS map.
If you're thinking of selling your JB+ please let me know!

Also, can anyone comment on how the JB+ is working out for them? It all reads very positively but was curious if months down the track anyone was having any issues or second thoughts?

It shouldn't have any issues, JB+ is a fancy boost controller, DP just lets exhaust and turbo breathe better. Only thing is that JB+ unlike JB4, doesn't have any WG control. This is the only place I can picture potential issues... issues such as throttle smoothness or opening/closing of WG earlier/later than required. Hopefully not. I'm probably going to jump on the Femto wagon next month for a proper MHD OTS map.
The WG control would be OEM. I don't see that as an issue either really. If the JB+ is calling for more boost less exhaust will be gated.

Perfect keep me updated
I had the car out on the track this weekend JB+ installed. I was a little concerned about IATs with the extra boost. I imagine the ECU would just pull timing if the engine entered knock territory but I I added a bottle of octane booster to my tank full of 93. I know it probably doesn't do anything it made me feel better. Anyway the car was ridiculously fast. There were no CELs and everything was smooth as butter in terms engine response. The problem is I drove the car so little before the JB+ I'm not sure if it added anything to an already fast car out of the box.

I’m loving the JB+ I’m only at the factory setting for it since we don’t have 93 here. Best bang for the buck out! Butt Dyno feels good! Took it up and down the canyon last weekend and it’s scary with that extra boost lol!

Nice follow up!

Were you on the default dial 3pm?

So why does JB4 have a WG control sensor? BMS updated all the JB4 modules to have this new addition. It's there for a reason. :)

It has to have some sort of added value when it comes to power delivery or smoothness/drivability.

It's not a sensor, JB4 controls the EWG. ??‍♂

First hit with the JB+ caught me off guard. Way faster than I was expecting too. I am going to try mixing in some ethanol this week, as BMS told me 2-3 gallons E85 is fine with JB+.

Some M340 guys found power gains that way.
Have a read: https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1881902 (TLDR: JB+ M340 handled up to ~E40 without any errors, so stay at E30ish to be safe)

I’m scared to mix e85 since I have no experience with it. Can our fuel system handle it?

As far as I know, the stock fueling (with stock turbo) can handle up to E50 no problem when flash tuned for it.

Essentially, your car's ECU has a range of fuel flow that is acceptable within its pre-defined OEM limits. When you flash your car, those limits are adjusted. A JB+ is not a flash, so it still uses OEM limits. Though the B58 fuel pumps can handle more ethanol, putting more than 30% will likely trigger a fuel trim error by exceeding the OEM limits.

Hope that makes sense. If it makes you feel any better, there are some countries that have E30 fuel by default (I believe Brazil is one of them). Just try doing 2 gallons E85 to start and fill the rest with 91/93. It really takes very little ethanol to improve octane/reduce timing corrections.

Ok keep us updated how it feels after mixing in E!

That's what I meant. This Further proves my point that JB4 can ensure better drivabilty Vs Jb+
The JB+ is a very specific one trick pony whereas the JB4 is a configurable one. What we are trying to ascertain is if the JB+'s one trick is tailored well enough to the A90 so as to not display any day to day issues.. whilst providing a nice plug and a performance boost.
