Need help with VIN Number for Launch Edition?

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a confirmed VIN number for a launch edition? I'm wanting to order the red mirror caps, but when I provided the correct part numbers (87945-WAA14 & 87915-WAA14), Toyota still sent me black since as that's what my car came with, stupid I know.

I looked through the wrecked thread on here and one of the first cars has red mirrors so was going to use that, but how can I be sure someone hasn't done what I want to do.

Appreciate anyone's help. If you have one and cool with emailing me the VIN, that would be amazing!

I know of one, but I'm not sure how it would play out with you being in Scotland and all..and those are not the part numbers of the Red caps you have listed. If you want the Red LE caps, the part numbers are 87915-WAA15 and 87945-WAA15.

You provided the wrong numbers if you were hoping to get Red, so it's not Toyota's fault. The WAA14s are satin black, like they're supposed to be.

Thanks for the information regarding that part number, not seen those numbers before. However, I would disagree with you, Toyota dealer were wrong! I also didn't say I was buying in the UK.

The toyota parts finders online are horrible.

I'm also seeing 87945-WAA15 for red

You are free to disagree all you want, but trust me, the part number I provided is not black, and the person that emailed you is an embarrassment. I've been a Toyota Parts Master & technical specialist for eleven years, and used the VINs of TWO Launch Editions belonging to people I personally know to triple confirm the information.
