I'm not sure what you mean, how is someone going to discretely steal your car while you're driving it?So… yes to all that? In all seriousness, what is stopping people from doing the same thing when you are driving away or to your destination? How about at stoplights or driving next to someone on the highway?
The fact is that car theft using relay attacks is super cheap and super easy, you can buy a $100 kit on Amazon that lets you break into (can you even call it "break into" when all you have to do is open the door?) and steal basically any modern car with no alarm or immobilizer to worry about. It happens all the time, and is increasing in frequency. It can also be easily prevented by just sticking your key in a little pouch when you're not using it. I don't understand why you're so being hostile to people taking the simplest of precautions to keep their car from being stolen?
