Or, if you want to add them yourself, here is a spreadsheet with both CAN and OBD2 items for the Supra. I'm also happy to share my RaceCapture config file with anyone that wants it!

Here is the current list of OBD2 items:

Sorry to bug you, but one more quick question. I've got my RC Track Mk 2 in now and have been playing around with the various OBDII functions. I've got RPM working and TPS "works", the problem is that it shows 0% throttle as ~13% throttle, i.e. foot off the throttle and car idling it's showing 13-14%, once warmed up. Any thoughts on how to fix this, is it as simple as adding "-13" to the end of the formula?

Thanks for the great write up @razorlab ! Any reason in particular as to why you hard wired in instead of just running a standard obd2 connector? m8-can-bus-obd-ii-cable
I ran both with this setup. Some data is over the obd2 port and some is over CAN.

I describe the obd2 port connection in the second half of the first post.

Car wouldnā€™t idle if the throttle was 0%.

TPS is the actual throttle plate. Accelerator Pedal is the throttle pedal request (your foot)

Just wanted to say thanks for this excellent write up. I just finished tapping into CAN only to realize IATs aren't recorded, which is something I very much want. I will just log via OBDII and BimmerLink for now until I muster the motivation to get this setup. Just awesome stuff. Thank you

Good evening, good sir!

My device is wired into CAN and OBDII with the splitter cable you linked so that it goes into one slot on the device:

Iā€™m currently not getting any data with the car running, even the OBDII data. The only setting I didnā€™t see mentioned was this:

What do you have this set to? Thanks!

Make sure you have the channels mapped correctly as well. I had an issue where I had all my CAN data items mapped to CAN2 but I had the physical connection on CAN1.

I'm not sure off the top of my head my settings you are asking about. I'll connect to the car later and check for you!

Thanks! Iā€™ll try that out today.

In your original post, you have the OBDII and CAN merged into one connection on CAN1/Power. What do you have hooked up to the other connection on the device, that big blue cable on CAN1/CAN2? If you werenā€™t using whatever that blue cable is, could you plug the OBDII into one port and the CAN into another?

Yea ignore that photo. I was doing some testing that didnā€™t work.

By the way, there are two yellow/black wires. Do you know if they're the same?

Thanks again. I believe I did but wanted to double check. Vacation for a week starting tomorrow, then going to try to get this going again after that.
