Still waiting... How long have you been waiting for your GR Supra allocation/order/update etc.?

How long did you have to wait/have been waiting to receive your GR Supra from the dealership??

I’ve been waiting since October 2022 at Fred Anderson in here in town ? so I feel you’re pain. They claim I’m #1 on the list (sure who knows), and I’ve recently started calling multiple dealerships around the east coast like I’ve read other people say to do.

There’s a dealership down the road from me that has one coming in next week, black 3.0 MT, but they want $70k for it …….. with a $5k markup. I’m just going to keep waiting. It’ll come and there are some out there, just depends on how much you wanna pay

For anybody still waiting for their Supra, the dealer I traveled 750 miles to get mine from last month has an allocation for a 45th anniversary manual coming in. Yes, I paid $2k in markup, but I didn't have to wait a year and their allocation was exactly what I wanted. I waited the 3 months from the day I put a deposit till it was delivered.

Anyone interested, I can pass along my salesguy's info. They were a pleasure to work with, even being from out of state.

Ended up picking up an automatic 21 3.0 premium yesterday. Only had 3500 miles. I’m used to driving manual, but I gotta say.. this automatic freaking rips!!

Contacted my local dealer right when the MT was announced, told them I wanted an A91-MT. They had me come in October 2022 to "order" an A91-MT.

A90 Premium MT came in February 2023, and I took it at MSRP. At the time, was pretty pissed about no A91 since they led me to believe I had ordered one. My order sheet was an A91...

4-5 months from the "order" wasn't too bad of wait. I had several deals fall thru on A91s (outbid) at nearby dealers during that time. I wasn't willing to pay more than 2-3 over.

Feel pretty lucky now, and the Absolute Zero grew on me, and I only had to drive 5 minutes from home to pick it up!

Update
I have shared a Supra Allocation Spreadsheet in the past, but that one's no longer functional. There is another one that I found that seems to still be working and was updated yesterday. I will link that here.

Needless to say, this has been a very helpful tool in helping me find the car I want and potentially haggle to negotiate better pricing. Good luck to everyone still looking for their car.

Wow, this is awesome. Would have been great to have when I was searching. Interesting to see how many of the 45th Anniversary Editions are out there.

Been waiting for mine close to 10 months was built in June and finally shipped out in August. The tracker sheet above status on mine states "Freight" does anyone know if that means its post-customs and is heading to the dealership?

I've had a deposit for over 12 months for a MT at MSRP. Couldn't keep waiting with no time estimation from my Toyota salesman, so picked up a BRZ at MSRP. Maybe I'll trade in if/when the Supra comes available to me, but so far loving the BRZ. Hindsight, I should of been more aggressive in my search to find one at $3-6k above MSRP since I'll probably end up losing more than $6k on the BRZ trade in (taxes, registration, depreciation, mods). At this point, I'm feeling less than 50% chance likely I end up with a MT Supra. Will keep my $500 deposit at Toyota for now...wish Toyota had a custom ordering process for the MT Supra and wouldn't mind just being told it was a 2 yr wait (venting over)

The one in Raleigh. Who knows if I actually am, or if they’re just telling me that. I’m still waiting since October 2022 ? one day… maybe.

I placed my deposit in April of last year (about 1.5 year wait) with an MSRP dealer in NorCal. Just took delivery yesterday; it was only the 2nd MT they received.

For anyone looking for a timeframe reference: I was told they had an allocation for me in July (car has a June date of production) and it got on a boat August 9th, got to port in Long Beach about a month later, went through processing about a week after that, and then delivered to the dealer this past Monday (Sept 18). They did all the inspection, cleaning, etc on Tuesday and it was ready for me the day after. My sales guy made sure they didn't drill the front bumper and no one drove it apart from to the gas station (half a block away) and across the street to their service area.

Wow, you waited a year and a half for yours? I would have looked at other platforms.
