Man I feel bad for Toyota. Hate how you can’t keep a secret without someone leaking info/photos but none the less I think it looks great. Not the most flattering angle/color but it’ll do haha

Don't feel too bad for Toyota.

A. This reveal has been a painfully bumpy road, and Tada-san has apologized for it multiple times.
B. Any type of publicity, is good publicity. As long as ppl are talking, ppl are interested.

And this is one reason why this was almost certainly not a deliberate leak by Toyota.

Too bad about that straight hood shut line, it should have been brought down below the badge and around the top of the lights for a much more cohesive look - compare with the FT-1 image Supra93 added to his OP. BMW has this same problem with its current 3 series, which it decided to correct on the new 2019 model.

Won't that restrict air flow to the radiator? It's probably one of the few functional vents on there.
The engineers have to make allowances for the front plate placements commonly used when designing for air flow, so it will all depend on whether their design spec requires the plate to be plastered over the bumper cover or can be mounted below it. Pray for the latter.
