I should spend some time looking into the JRZ offerings for our cars.

I have a set of RS Pro arriving soon, I’ll post some detailed photos. The camber plate design is something pay attention to for this chassis, no need for tiny little allen head screws to adjust.

They offer the Motorsport line as well those are $9000-11000 for a full set.

Next day air shipping is ~$290 that you add on to the price as well.

The RS Pro is really not much more than the MCS 2WNR I've been looking at, and the benefits are obvious with the external canister.

Olsen Motorsports has a couple good videos on these johnnies. The low speed adjustment available with the "3" is interesting. Olsen does a really good job explaining what the low speed adjustment does with a compression force vs. damper velocity graph.

This build should be a street/hpde car. I’m done turning street cars into full race cars. Fully sorted suspension, 2pc disc + oem calipers, bolt ons for engine. Not touching interior or aero… yet.

I gotta say - I’m super impressed with the Garmin Catalyst. It makes it so easy to choose a thing or two to work on and watch my lap times drop. I don’t think I’d have the patience or time for a deeper data system at this point.

It looked like maybe 30-40% of the people at my track day Friday had one.

They're very popular with the groups I do HDPEs with. I agree, 30-40% seems about right.

I went the cheap route with RaceChrono Pro and a precision GPS receiver, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Eventually I'll break down and buy the Garmin.

It is really growing. Have to admit it really tickles my ego when I check on where I am on the lap time registry. Over 263 posted times at VIR for example.

Fronts come with quick disconnect included, rears are optional. I’ll be mounting them to the car with some canister mounts. I’ll take some pics and maybe do a little write up.

So this was my quickest lap of the day. All I've really got is a DP/Catback/Wheels/tires/pads/splitter.

The wing (mk4 wannabe) I dont feel is even beneficial considering it's quite flimsy at speed.

I’m sure you already know with any coliovers you’ll have to get them rebuilt (~$500) every 2 years or so. Something to keep in mind. Also if you want to get hyper technical with your setup, Jackie PHD has more options than our Ohlins and can help if you’re competing with a race team.

So I was thinking of giong this route with the ohlins too. I don’t need a full blown race car but want better handling on the track for the few days I go.

I’ve read different opinions that when in sport/+ that stock suspension stiffens - is that true and if so how does that happen and how is that affected by aftermarket setups?
