I know many vouche for them, but they’re pricy consumables.
I don't disagree, but you said you were in a pinch. Also the only reason I am currently using them. Back to brake pads that perform 98% as well at less than half the price after this.

I think I read something before your gotos are club racers? Maybe I’m mistaken.

I do have about a week and half lead time to get some new pads. I was looking at 999s as a possibility.

Yup. Unfortunately currently impossible to find Club Racers or 999's.

Who makes the oem pads? I just did some 160 mph sessions and I was pretty impressed. Ive also ran EBC in the past. Curious if you think that would be an option.

Stock pads aren’t bad, minimum fluid upgrade and they can work.

my vendor has 999s in stock. Send it? How were they for you?

If you’re just starting out, stock pads are totally fine. If you’ve got over 3-5 track days, those proect mu’s would be much better than stock pads. Hawk DTC 60/30 (front/rear) are my go to for price performance combo. I gobble them up when Speed Industry or TireRack get them in stock. Some race shops carry them too. About $600 for a full set shipped w/ tax (front/rear) - 3.0 premium

I’d love to try the project mu someday however. People love em! 999s appear to be for sprint and clubs would last you longer. So it appears to me. Bryan and others that run them would know better.

buy them. very good. If stock pads are working for you, you are very green and just learning. Not a slam, because they are certainly cheaper and no sense spending $$ if you don't need track pads yet.

I think I’m going to try the 999s. On my other response, I was just responding to Oem pads being decent for what they are.

Appreciate y’all’s feed back and I’m going to try the 999s ??
