To each their ownIf your biggest gripe is over wheels and drop then thats an easy fix. Its the clean and simple body lines that give all of these cars a timeless look imo.

I think what makes the MK4 so desirable is that its so rare. I probably only see one or two on the streets each year.Only if there is as long of a gap between the five and the six. Part of what made the Mark 4 so desirable was that it was the last of its kind. So they thought.
I think That's why most of the a80 owners hate so much on the new car. They don't like the idea that something new or better came out and that it could be more desirable, thus possibly lowering the value of their car, I suppose...?
If so, that would be silly. The Mark four cannot be replaced.
True. A lot are sitting, broken down. Failed projects.I think what makes the MK4 so desirable is that its so rare. I probably only see one or two on the streets each year.
Maybe the imported RHD ones that have been riced the heck out of but most of the US spec MK4 for sale that I have seen are in pristine conditionTrue. A lot are sitting, broken down. Failed projects.
I haven't seen a single one. I'm talking about the ones you AREN'T seeing.Maybe the imported RHD ones that have been riced the heck out of but most of the US spec MK4 for sale that I have seen are in pristine condition
There are tons of clean examples for sale on eBay and Facebook market place. Are you sure you’re not confusing FD in place of A80 lol.I haven't seen a single one. I'm talking about the ones you AREN'T seeing.

My experiences are the opposite. Every mkiv, I've seen is owned by the same guy; Hector, from the Fast and Furious, trying to "go legit, and get on the NIRA circuit."Pretty much every MK4 that I have seen at meets are clean as hell. It's the MK3 that are usually trashed and riced out lol.
Hispanics will rice out any car so there's nothing new there. My experiences are the opposite. Every mkiv, I've seen is owned by the same guy; Hector, from the Fast and Furious, trying to "go legit, and get on the NIRA circuit."
It has horrible paint, either faded red/pink or dull black. Has a bunch of upgrades of various "old school" parts, and multiple anodized color schemes. Purple HKS cams, spray painted bolt dress kits, red reservoir caps. Also, stickers. Gotta have stickers. Also, not to forget windshield banners to match the color of the car, to "extend the hoodline, bro."
They all park as far away as possible from the mkv, backed in. When exiting any location, they always rev/two step/peel out and almost lose it and crash into a pole. Then, proceed to blast down the residential area going 95 thru a school zone. This is why there aren't many good examples. It's either, "I drop 55k on an Altima FULLY LOADED at 26% APR, or I get an mkiv. "I know a place/contact/auction sale, where I can find a unicorn bro." Because, "I can build it myself." They are scooped up fairly cheap in mediocre/salvage condition, then further degraded, until they end up crashed. Its a sad circle of mkiv life. Sad life for most until they are lost forever, unfortunately ?. ALSO, this is IMO, based on my experiences with them and their owners, obvs it's not indicative of every example lol. I have seen a few, from this site that are super clean, and the owners kept good care of them.
