I know this exhaust is the new hotness, and it's all subjective on looks and sound, but let's see how it holds up. Personally I think the single exit exhausts look shitty and sound meh. Calling it "the new standard" is a real stretch.
Sound meh compared toooo???
Which exhaust did you go with?

Looks good, we still need an aftermarket diffuser that is single exit so theres no line
Seibon has a single exit diffuser. But you’ll likely still need to trim it. I went w seibon cf mb front lip, seibon cf oem style skirts, 1FS cf rear lip spoiler, cf oem mirrors and these agn style rear spats. Didn’t want to do whole diffuser, was worried about fitment

I'm not trying to start an Internet slap fight. It's just my personal opinion. I'm sure yours differs. I run a catless downpipe with the AWE Track and it sounds like shit.

I'm too grown for that, I've done my tours and put boot to ass internet spats are just that. AWE sounds amazing in person few people I rode with in WA run em. If I was aware of them before going YouTube crazy on the SP1 I most likely would have had that

Right on. I should clarify that the exhaust sounded amazing mated to an AA catted downpipe, but it's just a walk of sound with a catless. Sounds less like a bad ass street car and more like a throaty V8 racecar.

I’m almost 99% certain that this particular SP1R catback is just a MK4 Tomei canister w/ new piping. Not necessarily a bad thing since cost is still under $2000.

A couple of our guys are getting this exhaust for 30-40% off after meeting some SP1R reps at GR Movement, so they are nice people.

Interested to see how the dual-exit valved SP1R coming in a few months will sound like, and wether it’s based off Tomei components as well.
they don’t have an acct here but just passing on the messageto you ?
