When you export the video on the Garmin it overlays the data.I was wondering as well. I have the Garmin, new to me this season, was planning to play with some of the video I ahve and try to post.
Question for ya Bryan, the race shop took out my spacers. I’m guessing 1) I don’t need them 2) he’s going to put more neg camber like you mentioned and my wheel will tilt away from the hood wheel well. Is there anything else I should ask the guy? I’m hoping I’m one and done. They’re mega expensive, busy and really don’t need my bisnas. Looking forward going back to my regular mechanic for maintenance stuff only ?When you export the video on the Garmin it overlays the data.
Wondering what video editor you use I have a couple of free versions haven’t found one the is easy but has a decent number of featuresWhen you export the video on the Garmin it overlays the data.
Is there a diffuser that works with the SP1R?I have two GT350 rear diffusers sitting in the shop unused. I tried to mock one up with my SP1R, but had no good results.
Not sure what you are asking about? You can run spacers or not, up to you.Question for ya Bryan, the race shop took out my spacers. I use Adobe Premiere but for the Garmin stuff I just export it from the device.Wondering what video editor you use I have a couple of free versions haven’t found one the is easy but has a decent number of features
My garmin camera is mounted just right of the rear view mirror. For the Garmin device, I used a Proclip with a RAM mount cage.Bryan how did you mount the Garmin just to your right. I am using the window mount far right but wouldnt mind it closer. Also my camera is just below the rear view mirror. How did you mount yours? We all want Razorlab like video content to post lol
Few post a way back. Nothing that can’t be solved. Just the tire rub I was getting. With spacers off and more camber, I’ll have more wheel tilt & clearance to avoid the hood/fender/wheel well my tires can hit on high speed compression. Being on the same tire as you, knowing you don’t have this problem, thus multiple ways I can solve it. Those seemed the easiest - spacers out, more height and negative camber. Before I start bending fenders, lol.Not sure what you are asking about? You can run spacers or not, up to you.
Use DaVinci Resolve (free editing software) and it'll use audio wavelengths to match two videos. So you can make a picture in picture if you want.Interesting to see where you improved and fell behind your previous lap. I like the GoPro footage. Too bad we couldn’t do pic in pic with two views in the Garmin. You really committed on the downhill picking up two tenths at the very end. BTW 145mph is so fast on the front straight, did the car feel extra spicy with all that cool Halloween air?
I don't think this forum could handle thatCan we (i) start an ask Razorlab page like the drag guys have for zrk?
The Garmin camera works better on the windshield as it analyzes the track and what not for the coaching feature. I use the cage just in case and also some clubs require things be hard mounted. A magnet wouldn't pass that.Ahhh I thought you may have used two Garmin cameras and just changed the connection. Ok I’ll look into the Proclip. Why bother with the cage when the magnetic mount holds the unit pretty darn tight?
Next season I am going back to my racecapture setup so my videos will have data overlays again.Interesting to see where you improved and fell behind your previous lap. I like the GoPro footage. I'm 13.75" center of wheel to fender now, no rubbing. Might be your spring rates. I also am running -4.0* negative camber.Few post a way back. Nothing that can’t be solved.
