Got mine! - 45th Anniv Mikan Blast 6-spd manual

I had almost given up hopes of finding one. This one was received on Jan 3rd and available until my call on the 9th.

This is my first Supra purchase. It was inspired by my son’s purchase six months ago of a 2017 Toyota 86 in Hot Lava (orange). He is in love with that car and has tracked it a few times already.

I am impressed by the handling and spark the Supra has in any gear. Orange is my favorite color too!

Is there a thread for 45th anniversary owners to register? Would be cool to track ownership. Any idea how many of the 900 are manual vs automatic? I understand the color was split 50-50.

Congrats on your purchase. I bought my auto 45th Mikan in November. I did get to enjoy it for a month until the diff started leaking at 700 miles. Hopefully, yours will be fine.

It looks to be glossy to me. The rear spoiler is definitely glossy. When I had my car PPFed, I had them use carbon fiber-look for the side skirts to match the rear-view mirrors. Those are covered by a $950 carbon-fiber "cap" as an option listed on the window sticker.

I had no wait for my Supra. Zero! It was at the dealer about five days, I found it on Cargurus and completed the purchase in 15 minutes. Easiest buying experience of my life. Of course, I have never paid sticker for a vehicle.

My experience is somewhat unique. I only noticed the Supra in the past two months while considering a new car purchase. My son drives an orange 86…he was the first to mention it. After checking with several dealers, it seemed unlikely I would find one…until I did.

It is worth the wait. Be sure to post pics once yours arrives.
