Haha yep! My mom did too. I remember bombing around, as she blasted the Pointer Sisters haha. Wish we still had it in the family.

I got a used one after high school in 1989 added sway bars and eibach springs miss that car

Unpopular opinion possibly, but I really don't understand this. Why sirens a bunch of money on a vehicle, for it to sit for literal years?? I'm not saying it should have 200k on it, but not even 10k miles...

I guess I just can't bring myself to spend money on something like this that was never used.

I actually had one exactly like that, Manual in white my buddy wrapped it around a light pole at 70+mph and almost killed himself while I watched. I just sent him this as a “hey remember this car”

I got caught drag racing a 300ZX at 100 mph with 4 girls in the car. I was 17 and they pulled my license for 6 months. Yikes. Mom wasn't happy with me.

I had those on my 90 mr2 turbo. Could feel the drag from those pie plates when I turned on the headlights. One of the few things I really wanted to change out.

I've never driven a car with them. But I could see how they could be problematic. Still such an interesting design from back in the day
