Just a couple thousand miles on my 2023 supra. Kind of a louder squeakiness when I press/depress clutch pedal. I’m not very car savvy- is this something I should be able to fix at home (ie wd40)? Is it normal to hear a bit of a squeak? Thanks

None of my MT cars have or had squeaky clutch pedals, so that is not normal at all.

It's not uncommon for BMW clutch pedals. It's usually caused by worn bushings or in this case probably the clutch return spring just needs some grease.

No, very frustrating. I brought it up when I went to the dealer, and they said “oh you’re just hearing your clutch pedal rubbing against the floor mat you bought.” But it DEFINITELY is not that- it is a definite squeak that I mainly hear when pressing down on the clutch pedal (and maybe more so when going from 1st to 2nd?).

Yea it's definitely "not rubbing against the floor mat". I might get the same answer if I bring it into dealership, they either tell me it's normal or the car is just breaking in.

Anyways I'm gonna try lube the clutch pedal assembly, and report back.

Just spray some spray non messy spray lube on the pivot point such as WD40 or some silicon spray. Should fix a pivot issue and even if it's only temporary at least you know where the noise is coming from.

I did a light lube on the pivot points, it didn't really help in my case. The only pivot point I couldn't lube was the top most one, I couldn't reach it w/o taking the whole pedal off, it's got a plastic bushing inside.

I also didn't lube the spring (return spring?), because it already got quite some lube on it.

I'm pretty sure my squeak came from inside the car, as I couldn't hear it from the outside, so that ruled out the slave cylinder.

I'll take it to the dealership later, and see what they say, report back again.

My 2024 clutch pedal developed a squeak after 150 miles.

"Spraying" the bearings and spring with white lithium grease DID NOT fix the problem and actually made it worse. Do not recommend.

To fix it, I had to remove the pedal spring and fully coat all of the parts with dielectric grease. I believe the source of the squeak is not the bearing(s), but the spring contacting the plastic spring perch. Removing this spring was a pain, especially for a brand new car.

EDIT: the photos were taken after a light wipe down, but before re-coating with grease.

Assuming you didn’t go back to the same person that said it was rubbing against the floor mat?

Just a quick update, dealership replaced the whole pedal assembly, the squeaks and creaks are gone now.
It's wild how incompetent Toyota dealers are. They're afraid to touch anything on this car. All they needed to do was grease the return spring.

When I was having problems with my subwoofer distorting the local tech admitted that even the corporate supra techs really don't know what they're doing with these. He basically said they told him he was on his own.

I wish it were me! Backtoback got it solved; I have yet to go back. The Toyota dealership that I go to only has one technician that is Supra trained, and he is the one that gave me that stupid information about rubbing against the mat. I don’t know how much trust I have to go back to the guy.
